Healing and transformation are possible. This is true in the natural world, and it is true for each and every one of us. A transitional period can trigger chaos, and it can also be a time to create space for new life. With every loss, there is an opportunity for rebirth and discovering a deeper understanding of one’s self and life purpose.
My primary goal as a counselor is to connect people with their authentic selves and their communities. I support clients in developing healthy relationships, increasing self-awareness, and determining their next steps.
The oak tree is a meaningful symbol in my work with clients. In Celtic mythology, the oak tree is believed to be a gateway between worlds. When facing the complexities of a life transition, we may find ourselves in the midst of the unknown. We are neither here nor there, and yet there is a gateway that leads to greater depth, healing, and authenticity.
